The same chemistry proven to
reduce emissions at
oil-fired power plants and
in diesel engines has also
established a solid record
reducing emissions from
gasoline engines.
Independent evaluations
conducted over the past 30
years have established that
PRI chemistry reduces both
unburned hydrocarbons and
NOx.
Among the most recent
examples of
PRI-G
capabilities is a test
conducted on a 1988 Buick,
six-cylinder engine with
more than 150,000 miles on
the odometer. Tested under
the Arizona Department of
Environmental Quality
Vehicle Inspection Program,
this vehicle initially
failed to pass minimum state
standards for NOx emissions.
After running on two tanks
of PRI-G treated
fuel, the Buick was retested
and passed the test. The
results are as follows: |
